India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam

ASIA attended the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, engaging with conversations shaping the country’s AI landscape.

The summit brought together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to reflect on the social, ethical, and governance dimensions of AI in India. Our team attended sessions on culturally grounded AI and the role of social norms, inclusive AI ecosystems for India’s future, AI’s potential to transform the judicial system, adaptive governance frameworks for responsible AI in health, and South-South cooperation in AI policymaking.

A special highlight of the summit was the launch of the UNESCO India AI Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM) Report, developed in partnership with the India AI Mission and implemented by Ikigai Law. The report assesses India’s preparedness for ethical and responsible AI and outlines key recommendations for the way forward.
