Workshop Update: ASIA Researchers Attend Launch of India’s First Resuscitation Academy 13-14 March, 2025

We were proud to share that two of our team members, Shipra Agarwal and Neeti Goutam, healthcare researchers at ASIA, attended a two-day workshop marking the launch of the Resuscitation Academy—India’s first-ever initiative of its kind. The academy was launched with the support of @Global Resuscitation Alliance, @UPEC Singapore, and the Laerdal Group, and facilitated by @EMRI Green Health Services (GVK EMRI Enterprise).

The workshop brought together key leaders and influencers from across India to discuss program-linked information and strategies for implementation. The core objective was to promote the adoption of 10 essential steps to improve survival rates from cardiac arrests in the country.

Through dynamic group discussions and hands-on training, our researchers engaged deeply with these essential steps. The workshop offered valuable insights into the importance of enhancing CPR knowledge and performance at both community and institutional levels.

Interacting with leading scholars, public health professionals, and implementation experts significantly enriched our team’s understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this vital area of healthcare.
