The Advanced Study Institute of Asia is delighted to announce that Shubham Mishra and Khushi Kesari have been awarded a grant of £1000 (₹1,07,800) to present their work on the hashtag#WohDilli Project at the prestigious Born-Digital Collections, Archives, and Memory Conference at the University of London. This grant recognizes their valuable contributions to digital heritage and supports their efforts in showcasing the rich legacy of Old Delhi through innovative digital storytelling.
The Woh Dilli Project is a digital initiative that brings the history of Shahjahanabad, now Old Delhi, to life through a curated map-based web platform and handbook. Featuring digital models, historical images, and narratives, it offers an immersive exploration of the city’s 17th and 18th-century landscapes, its people, and its vibrant markets, bridging the past with the present.
