Program Coordinator for Law & Critical Emerging Technologies

Shivani Singh is the Program Coordinator for Law & Critical Emerging Technologies at the Advanced Study Institute of Asia, SGT University, New Delhi, a role she has held since March 2024. She has been a Legal Researcher in Intellectual Property (IP) at Sanrachna Foundation, SGT University, since 2022, focusing on legal projects related to innovation and IP.

Shivani earned her LLM (2024) and BBA.LLB (Hons) (2019) from The ICFAI Law School, The ICFAI University, Dehradun. She also holds a Diploma in Intellectual Property: Law and Management from the Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. Her additional certifications include courses from WHO, WIPO, and Duke University on topics such as AI & Law, Geographical Indications, and Intellectual Property Rights.

Her expertise encompasses project management, legal research, and IP law. Shivani specialises in legal projects related to innovation, IP, and research in the intersecting areas of legal and economic interests. She has effectively managed and coordinated various legal projects, authored numerous articles on copyright law, geographical indications, innovation, and emerging technologies, and presented papers on topics such as the impact of patents on public health and challenges in intellectual property law.
