Senior Analyst: Health Disparities and Meta Evidence

Senior Analyst specializing in health disparities and meta-evidence, currently part of the Advanced Study Institute of Asia (ASIA) at SGT University since March 2023. She has also been a key contributor to the Sanrachna Foundation since its establishment in 2018. Originally from Agra, known as the city of the Taj, she has built a diverse career in healthcare research, with a focus on public health and equity. Before her role at Sanrachna Foundation, Shipra worked as an Intern-Junior Analyst at NITI Aayog, where she contributed to the Open Government Data (OGD) platform by analyzing meta data.

She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI), Agra, which she completed in 2017, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra. With over six years of experience in healthcare research, Shipra has gained extensive knowledge in health data analysis and has written numerous academic works focused on influencing health policy and practice. Notably, she co-authored a research article with Dr. Reena Nayyar titled “Strategies for Optimising Doctor Numbers in Western Pacific and Asian Countries: The Path Travelled,” published in the South-East Asian Journal of Medical Education. Through her involvement in ASIA’s health-related events on Tuberculosis and Lead Poisoning, she brings together experts from diverse backgrounds to share their knowledge and experiences. Her interest revolves around conducting secondary research and identifying gaps to tackle pressing healthcare issues.
