Research Roundtable on Lead Poisoning, hosted by the Advanced Study Institute of Asia (ASIA) at SGT University on September 6, 2024, aims to facilitates open dialogue and exchange of ideas to address the critical issue of lead poisoning in South and Southeast Asia. The roundtable will gather experts from diverse fields, including public health, environmental science, and policy-making, to brainstorm and propose actionable insights for mitigating lead exposure. Participants will discuss the effectiveness of current initiatives, share best practices, and outline short-term goals to enhance public health responses to lead poisoning in the region. This collaborative effort is essential for developing comprehensive strategies to protect vulnerable populations, particularly children, from the harmful effects of lead exposure
