Khushi Kesari

Program Officer-History Lab: Community, Heritage, & Material Culture

Khushi Kesari currently serves as a Program Officer at the History Lab of the Advanced Study Institute of Asia, SGT University, and Sanrachna Foundation in Delhi, India. Since April 2024, she has been responsible for conducting research, publishing papers, guiding event planning, and developing innovative presentations of histories. Her role involves intensive research, leading research teams, preparing funding proposals, and communicating findings through various channels. Her notable accomplishments include the publication of a book titled “Tales of Traditions: The GI Atlas of India,” the launch of the “Woh Dilli” Project and Handbook, and contributions to cultural digital platforms like Vigyan Vaibhav.

Previously, Khushi worked as a Research Assistant, focusing on Indian cultural practices and historical monuments while contributing to interdisciplinary projects. She has published articles on diverse topics such as history, culture, behavior, and intellectual property. Additionally, she has led significant projects, including the development of interactive cultural maps and YouTube series on Indian heritage. Her extensive experience includes internships at the Asiatic Society for Social Science Research, India Lost and Found, Enroute Indian History, Rangeen Khidki, and the UN Online Volunteer program. Khushi is also an esteemed Post-Graduate Member of the Royal Historical Society in London and holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Delhi. She has obtained various certifications in arts, culture, intellectual property, and heritage documentation from places like IIMB, WIPO, NLU, INTACH and many more.
