How much is your Data worth?(India)

This research paper investigates how people value their data. It replicates the previous study conducted in the United States titled as “How Much Is Data Privacy Worth? A Preliminary Investigation” by A. G. Winegar & C. R. Sunstein, in Indian context.

Understanding how Indians value and approach data privacy is crucial. As India’s digital landscape continues to flourish, it’s important to understand the value we place on our data, since many companies profit through it without our consent/ knowledge. These findings will aid policymakers in developing stronger data protection policies for the rising internet user population.
