Chanakya Defense Dialogue: Future Strategies in the Indo-Pacific

ASIA was honoured in attending the Chanakya Defense Dialogue: Future Strategies in the Indo-Pacific at the India International Centre, New Delhi hosted by Centre for Land Warfare Studies , Centre For Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS)’.

The event featured acclaimed speakers like Sanjeev Sanyal, Elizabeth Threlkeld, and Carice Witte. Key discussions included India’s approach to strengthening defence in a changing world order, adapting military strategies to climate change, and fostering regional partnerships through hashtag#ASEAN and hashtag#BIMSTEC. Carice Witte also highlighted Israel’s role in promoting democracy in the Middle East.

This event focuses on critical security issues, with a specific focus on India’s national security challenges. It has been two years and the dialogue has expanded from a national seminar to an international platform, reflecting CLAWS’ growing influence on global defence discourse.
