Geopolitical Researcher

Aurko Chakrabarti has been an Applied Geopolitical Researcher at ASIA since 2024 and has worked with the organisation since its inception. His professional career began in 2022 as a Narrative Designer at the Sanrachna Foundation. Prior to that, he interned with the Economic Times (2020) and worked in various volunteer positions in his hometown of Kolkata.

Aurko earned a bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication from Swansea University. Aurko, who has over two years of research experience, assists in the creation of ASIA’s De/Cypher newsletter as well as other research initiatives and collaborations for the organisation. He is very interested in geopolitical research and media analysis.
